I do a websearch every so often in hopes of finding some of Geoffrey Beene's women's fragrance called Red. Can you mourn a fragrance? I think I have been mourning this one. There's a site called longlostperfume.com which you'd think would be of some help, but there's none to be had there. Can Aunt Judy's minions be of assistance? It was good to see two other people looking for Red. I will be emailing each of them. What do we do when we get together something constituting a quorum? To whom do we petition? The recipe for this stuff's got to be written down SOMEWHERE, and a lot of you would think I was insane if you knew some of the letters and emails I've written, and to whom I've written them, in the hope of finding someone who'd help me. I'm a flight attendant, so I can and will go anywhere to get it -- and I used to be a newspaper writer, so I'm pretty good at research, but this has been my downfall. I did come across a Versace perfume that was very, very, very close. Guess what? It's been discontinued. HELP!!!!

I'm looking for Armani pour femme eau de toillette or eau de parfum. As far as I know, it was Armani's first parfum. The bottle is 8-side-shaped clear glass with same size black top. the colour of the parfume is golden. I wore it on the night I met my husband about 18 years ago. First time that I find other females who desperately look for ANNAM Perfume by Tan Giudicelli. I simply love it and have tried everything. No response from CCB, @mails going back and forth but no result at all. Went even to Galeries Lafayette in Paris because they know an awful lot of perfumes. I was so excited when I found your site through a keyword on a search engine. I have been collecting Evyan Most Precious for a short time now, but have a pretty nice collection. This is by far my favorite fragrance. I didn't realize that it had been discontinued until I ran out of the perfume and powder in the late 80's and by then it was too late. I couldn't remember the name of the manufacturer, and every fragrance counter that I visited for years had never heard of it. I knew that it was sold side-by-side with White Shoulders, and that it came in a light blue box, but even that didn't seen to jog anyone's memory. I was beginning to think that I was going crazy. When the fragrance started showing up on eBay, I got really excited and bought a bunch of it. I was looking for sets that were in good condition, and found that they are hard to come by; that is until I found you! I absolutely love the items that you had for sale, and can hardly wait until they get here! My mom gave me the perfume and powder set when I was a teenager, and it lasted me over 13 years. Everytime I dab on the cologne I think of my mom, so this fragrance definitely has sentimental value to me. Thank you for all of your hard work, and for having just what I wanted in your inventory... :-) I'm hoping that you'll have more to add to you stock in the future, so I'll keep on checking back.

LOOKINING FOR INFRMATION ABOUT EVE PERFUME AND BLACK TULIP: I found this two bottles at a going out of business store. The Eve bottles were a pair and stand about 3 1/2 inches tall with a pull off lid. They are made of heavy cystral and on the bottom of the bottles it states.. 1Fl OZ Parfum Made in France Dist. Eve of Roma Int'l Anstal. The Black Tulip is a minature bottle which has a old screw on lid and sits in a wooden tray next to a strange looking wooden figure. On the gold label it states Black Tulip Jonsel Distributor New York. The only thing I could find about it was it was launched in 1924 by Edward T. Beiser. I would like to post this message to see if anyone has ever heard of these two.

I fell in love with a scent that has been discontinued. It's called "L'Ambre," by Tan Giudicelli, and it WAS sold by CCB Paris, online or through catalogues. They discontinued it and I bought out the remainder, but it's close to gone. It's NOT exactly like plain amber oil. It has a lighter quality, and a slight incense scent. I sent it to one fragrance replicator who only does oils, and it's not quite the lost scent. Any ideas of where I could get more of this -- cologne, I guess, rather than perfume -- or someplace else I could try for fragrance replication?
